In today’s fast-moving world, real change isn’t just about building big ideas—it’s about showing up, caring, and doing the work where it’s needed most. That’s exactly what the Abhay Bhutada Foundation has been doing across Maharashtra. From school classrooms to college campuses to cultural parks, the Foundation is quietly changing lives in ways that feel personal and lasting. At the heart of its efforts are three key initiatives: LearnByDoing, a hands-on STEM education program; a scholarship partnership with Maheshwari Vidya Pracharak Mandal (MVPM); and a meaningful contribution to Shivsrushti, a place that celebrates history and belonging.

The Heart Behind the Mission
Every movement for change begins with a person who cares enough to take action. For the Abhay Bhutada Foundation, that person is Abhay Bhutada. Known for his success in the business world, he has chosen to give back significantly.
What makes his work different is the thought behind it. It’s not just about charity or doing good for the sake of it. Bhutada believes in listening to what people actually need—and then finding simple, clear ways to meet those needs. Whether that’s helping a child discover the magic of science or giving a student the means to finish their degree, his work is focused, grounded, and full of intention. He sees each project not as a task, but as a way to restore hope, confidence, and dignity.
Making Learning Fun and Real with LearnByDoing
Imagine being in school and hearing about science without ever seeing it come alive. That’s the reality for many children in government schools who rarely have access to labs, experiments, or the chance to explore. The LearnByDoing initiative changes that by giving students STEM kits that allow them to get their hands dirty—in the best way. They can build circuits, study plant cells, and play with ideas that suddenly feel real and fun.
These kits aren’t flashy—they’re practical. But for the children who receive them, they’re a doorway to something bigger. For the first time, they’re not just being taught—they’re discovering. And with every discovery comes a new sense of confidence. They begin to believe in their own potential, not because someone told them to, but because they’ve seen it for themselves.
Scholarships That Carry Dreams Forward
Finishing school is one thing. But stepping into college is another journey—often blocked by the cost of tuition, books, and living expenses. That’s why the Abhay Bhutada Foundation joined hands with MVPM to create a scholarship fund that supports bright, deserving students who would otherwise be left behind. In 2024, ₹1 lakh scholarships were awarded to 25 students—enough to cover major academic costs and give them a fighting chance.
These scholarships are more than money. They are belief. When a student receives that letter saying they’ve been chosen, it’s not just financial support—it’s a moment of being seen. Of someone saying, “You deserve this. Keep going.” The students who receive these scholarships are future doctors, engineers, and teachers. But more importantly, they’re young people with dreams that now feel within reach.
Making History Accessible at Shivsrushti
Heritage isn’t just about the past—it’s about feeling rooted in where you come from. That’s what Shivsrushti offers to people across Maharashtra. It’s a beautifully created theme park that tells the story of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, his values, his leadership, and his deep connection with the land and people. But for many families, the cost of visiting such places can be out of reach.
Recognizing this, the Foundation donated ₹51 lakh to Shivsrushti, lowering ticket prices to just ₹50 for a two-month period. Thousands of children, elders, and families walked through those gates, not just to learn—but to feel proud. Cultural exposure shouldn’t be limited by income, and this gesture ensured that it wasn’t. It was about giving people back their history—and making sure every child in Maharashtra knows the greatness that came before them.

A Full Circle of Support
Each initiative of the Abhay Bhutada Foundation meets a specific need—but when you step back, a clear pattern appears. It’s a cycle of care. A student explores science with LearnByDoing. That curiosity grows, and they aim for college. The scholarship makes it possible. Along the way, a visit to Shivsrushti grounds them in cultural identity. These aren’t separate efforts—they’re part of a full circle that nurtures both mind and heart.
This is what makes the Foundation’s work holistic. It doesn’t stop at textbooks. It reaches into the spaces where belief is built—where a child believes they can learn, grow, and belong. The Foundation isn’t handing out help. It’s building self-worth, knowledge, and connection.
Looking Toward Tomorrow
The Abhay Bhutada Foundation is still growing, still learning, and still working hand in hand with communities. What it’s already done in such a short time is proof that change doesn’t need to be loud to be powerful. It needs to be thoughtful. It needs to be consistent. And above all, it needs to be human.
Whether it’s a student opening their first science kit, a family stepping into a history exhibit, or a teenager receiving that scholarship call—the Foundation is showing that real change starts with one person believing in another. And when that belief is backed by action, there’s no limit to where it can take us.
